Mrs. Jackson is a true Georgia Peach; a graduate from the illustrious North Atlanta High School, she was actively involved in the Performing Arts Program. With 19 years of experience in education, she began her career in the Atlanta Public School System as a credential elementary school teacher, she has also served in the Cobb County Public School system, the Montessori School system and has taught almost every grade at the elementary school level. She obtained her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University and represented her school as Miss Georgia Southern University 1996. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She resides in Douglas County, GA with her high school sweetheart Mr. Jackson and their three beautiful daughters, McKenzi, Bailey and Summer.

Mr. Jackson is from the westside of Atlanta, GA. If you ask him, he says that his life is a "product of God's grace and mercy". Growing up in some of the most notorious housing projects in Atlanta; he was able to use his athletic ability to attend North Atlanta High School and matriculate as an All-Star Scholar-Athlete. He went on to obtain his B.A. from State University of West Georgia in Business Administrative Systems and was signed as a player for the Brussels Le Train in Belgium. After leaving professional sports, he joined the City of Atlanta Fire Department as a Sergeant where he is still currently employed. Mr. Jackson is married to his high school sweetheart Mrs. Jackson and he is the doting father or three beautiful daughters.
Mrs. Pamela George
Mrs. George is a proud Atlanta native. A product of the Atlanta Public School System and a graduate of the historic Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta, she went on to study Theater and Fine Arts at Stephen's College in Columbia, MO one of America's oldest existing women's institutions. She holds a B.A. of Fine Arts. Her background in liberal and performing arts allows her to instill strong communication and expression skills in our students. Mrs. George enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, going to church, and working with our young ones to bring out their dramatic skills.
Mrs. Linda Spann
Mrs. Spann is a native of Philadelphia, PA and a product of the Philadelphia Public School System. With over 17 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Spann has made it her life's mission to not only educate and impart knowledge, but to instill a love and devotion for God in each of her students. When she is not educating our children, she is a devoted mother to three sons and one daughter and a proud grandmother to two grandsons. She is also the First Lady of Fully Rely on God Christian Ministries. She enjoys crocheting, watching Westerns and family time. Her favorite phrases are "Thank You Friend" and "Show Me Love".
Ms. Angelyn Cobb
Ms. Cobb is a proud Atlanta native. She is a graduate of the Historic Morris Brown College and was a proud Bubbling Brown Sugar (Majorette). With over 48 years of teaching experience with Certification in Secondary Education, Ms. Cobb Taught middle school and high school. Ms. Cobb enjoys interior decor, catering for special events and listening to various genres of music. Ms. Cobb is also the proud mother of our founder Mrs. Jackson. She is known as "The Mother of AIP".

Miss Nautica Turner
First Grade Teacher Assistant
Miss Nautica is a Georgia native. A product of Angels in Progress Academy and a graduate of Douglas County High School, she is so excited to be "back home" working with AIP enhancing the lives of our young people. From a child, Miss Nautica has had a passion for working with children and for the past 2 years she has been exercising that passion. In the classroom and around the school you will find her lending a hand wherever she is needed. When she is not assisting to shape and mold our young scholars she enjoys shopping and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Jessica Bankston
4th & 5th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Bankston is an Atlanta native. She has been teaching for seven years, receiving her teaching certificate in 2016. Her passion for teaching can be seen in her methods and approach to dealing with her students. She says "I enjoy teaching each and everyday." She is married to Mr. Earl Bankston and is step-mother to her wonderful 5 year old stepson. In the future she desires to have two more children. When Mrs. Bankston is not teaching at AIP, she can be found singing at her church or in her community choir. As a Singer, she has had the privilege of singing the National Anthem with the Zack Brown Band and for such gospel artists as Dorothy Norwood, Richard Smallwood, Kurt Carr, Maurette Brown Clark and Beverly Crawford.
Ms. Tamika Brown
6th & 7th Grade Teacher
Ms. Brown is a native of Newark, NJ. She is a 2003 graduate of Clark Atlanta University; it was there that she earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. Upon graduating from CAU, Ms. Brown began her career in the financial sector, but in 2016 she answered the call on her life to become an Educator. Ms. Brown has enjoyed three wonderful years as a full time teacher. She believes that education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world. She teaches her students that knowledge is never ending, as we continue to learn daily from life experiences. In her classroom she likes to mix things up because "teaching should be done outside of the box." She enjoys making her lessons fun and memorable. Ms. Brown is a lover of All things STEM (especially Math and Technology) and her life's mantra is "With God all things are possible."

Mrs. Micah Finney
Mrs. Finney graduated from Fort Valley State University with a degree in Mass Communications. She loves teaching because as a teacher, she is able to use creative ways to prepare students for their future. Because of her creative approach to teaching, there is never a dull moment in Mrs. Finney's class! Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and going to concerts. One of her favorite quotes is "Always look at the glass as half full instead of half empty."
