AIP CLUBS

AIP offers a range of extracurricular activities, through vendors, for students to participate in. Extracurricular activities provide a great platform to enhance improve social skills, broaden perspectives, facilitate interest,  and develop leadership skills all while enhancing intellect. Extracurricular activities, hosted at AIP, are voluntary and are not part of the AIP tuition and fee structure. All vendors and

guardians are responsible for all cost, materials, and emergencies/injuries incurred while participating in any extracurricular activity.

Gardening

The Green Thumb Club

Student will learn about the importance and benefits of gardening. Students will engage in hands on learning to successfully live off the land. Instruction will include lessons on the plant life cycle, appropriate planting seasons, proper soils, insects,  tools, and health. Your student will be proud to show you what they have learned when they plant their own seeds at home. 

Grades: K4-8th 

Cost: K4-K5 ($30 for 6 sessions)/1st-8th ($60 for 10 sessions)

Cool Kids Read Book Club

Cool Kids Read Book Club is a club that allows students from all over the world to make connections, develop friend-ships, and interact with each other while reading books. This engaging activity driven club will show your student that reading is exciting and relates to everything in life. Students will learn new vocabulary, increase inferencing skills, enhance comprehension, learn to understand perspectives, purpose, and more. Every student will receive a personalized book gift basket each time a new book is introduced. A celebration party is held at the end of each session.

Grades: 1st-8th

Cost: $150 ( for the 1st student, each 6 week session, includes: meals, gift basket, and project supplies)

Sibling Discounts: $75 (2nd student), $50(3rd Student)

Drama Club

Who wants Drama? We want Drama! The Drama Club offers students the ability to reach education through arts and humanities. Theater training provides empowerment, self-esteem, exploration of diversity, and confidence. Students will explore the joy of improve, the mystery of method acting, and the triumph of conducting a monologue. You will delight in a one of a kind end of session performance show casing what your young Thespian has accomplished. 

Grades: 3rd-8th

Student council presents a unique opportunity for young students to learn organization, teamwork, and social responsibility that prepares them for future leadership positions. The elected council members will have the opportunity to learn about leadership positions, develop meeting agendas, learn the voting process, and collaborate with the AIP faculty on student based initiatives and change.

Radical Scholars Mime Ministry

Mime is the theatrical technique of expressing an idea or portraying a character entirely by facial expression, gesture and bodily movement without the use of words. In this course students will learn how to use this dramatic art for ministry. They will mime to Christian music and will learn and study the word of God. Encourage our young people grow and strengthen their relationship with God as they spread the Gospel.

Grades: 5th-8th

Cost: $30 (10 week session, for gloves and makeup)

                   (all black performance attire: collared long sleeve shirt, black pants, black socks, black shoes)

Radical Scholars LEGO Club

The goal of  LEGO building is to promote the concepts of math, science, physics, and engineering  as a single unit. This fun filled program will give students the drive needed for critical and creative thinking while developing motor skills. Each class will bring about a new and exciting invention while learning the theories of Newton, Einstein, and more.

Financial Literacy

Teaching our children about the importance of financial literacy should begin at a young age. The financial literacy program is structured to help students understand the fiscal importance of saving and budgeting. The program also introduces  interest rates, credit, and investments. Every lesson is age appropriate with a goal of creating future Entrepreneurs.
